How We Embrace People

Spiritual Community Ministries

Spiritual Community is about connecting to the Church, the body of Christ. In order to advance the mission of Christ, we need each other. We can't accomplish what God has set out for us to do by ourselves. We need each other. As much as we'd like to hope that nothing will ever go wrong in our lives, the reality is that we will have down times when we need encouragement. Likewise, we should encourage those in our local church who need encouragement.

Guest Ministries

At The Lakes Assembly, we believe that life change happens when we experience God and when we experience fellowship with each other. That's why we care about each guest and visitor at our church. We believe that every visitor and guest who walks through our doors is here for a divine reason. Therefore our responsibility ought to be to have the right attitude toward our guests and have ministries that show we actually do care about our newcomers!

Please check out our guest welcome page if you've never visited our church before.

Welcome Team

From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you'll be made to feel at home at The Lakes Assembly. Our compassionate greeter team will be poised and ready to give you directions and answer any questions you may have.

If you have children, you'll be able to check them in with our secure check-in system and immediately drop them off in their respective classrooms where our teachers are ready to welcome them and show them love. We have a complimentary coffee bar in the foyer where you can meet and get acquainted with our friendly church family before service begins.

Follow Up Team

Life is crazy and flies by way too fast. Sometimes church services do too. Our follow up team is a group of compassionate people who care about people. If you took the time to visit our church, we feel that we should take the time to get to know you and reach back out.

Hospitality

We love to hang out with new people, and we love to hang out with each other. Our Hospitality Ministry is a team of volunteers who bring and prepare food as well as make sure everything is just right for out guests.

Care Ministries

At The Lakes Assembly, we believe the body is made up of many parts. When one part of the body hurts, the whole body hurts. Just like the first century believers found it important to care for the needs of those in the church, we should care for those in need around us.

Life Coach Ministry

The life coach ministry at The Lakes Assembly works with individuals, couples and families through biblical counseling. We offer premarital, marriage, parental, personal, and financial life coaching.
NOTE: These ministries are not licensed professional counseling services.

Hospital and Homebound Visitation

When a member of our church family is unable to attend church, we don't abandon them! It is often during these times that individuals need the care and compassion of their church family most. Our hospital and homebound visitation ministry seeks to bridge the gap by providing emotional and spiritual support as well as home cooked meals for those in need.

If you or someone you know has recently been hospitalized or become ill, please contact our office at 972-722-0000.

Funerals

If you have experienced the loss of a family member, you can contact us to make arrangements at 972-722-0000.
Please join us online, chat with us, and let us know you are watching from home.
